Suspicion by Alfred Hitchcock (USA, 1941, 99 min.). Handsome, charming Johnnie Aysgarth (Cary Grant) is a known swindler, so when he marries Lina McLaidlaw (Joan Fontaine), the naïve daughter of a wealthy retired general (Sir Cedric Hardwicke), everyone except Lina believes Johnnie is only after his wife’s inheritance. Her love changes to suspicion when she begins to uncover Johnnie’s secrets: stolen money, a mysteriously deceased business partner, and an insurance policy on her own life.

Suspicion will be screened on 35mm film.
