The Guest (Misafir) by Haydar Demirtas (2013, 30 min.). Bahe has lived in the Orthodox monastery since he was a small child after his mother left for Syria. Unofficially adopted by the monastery, Bahe still struggles to understand his mother’s abandonment. A beautifully shot portrait of a man the monastery could not do without.
