Explore the art of ink drawing with Joo Lee Kang, who will demonstrate her cross hatching drawing techniques and reveal her inspirations from Korean traditional art such as the Mandala, which means 'circle' in Sanskrit and symbolizes the universe. Observe Ms. Kang's detailed ballpoint pen drawing process from the perspective of a meditative drawing activity.
Joo Lee Kang has been exhibiting her work in the US and Korea. Her wallpaper project at Tufts University Art Gallery is now part of their permanent collection. Ms. Kang is a part-time faculty member at Seoul Digital University.
