Adventures in Art for Children on the Autism Spectrum

Class Description: Mapping Our World

What can we learn from a map? Does a map have to show a real place? Explorers, historians, and artists have made maps for thousands of years to show where they’ve been, where they’re going, and what’s important along the way. Join us to explore the world of maps and then create your own map of an important place – whether it’s real or imaginary.

Project: Use mixed media to make a map of a place that’s important to you.

Instructor: Ali Cohen
