Death and taxes may not be constants after all. In this gallery talk we will examine how Egypt, Greece and Rome each imagined man could live forever. In particular, we will examine Egyptian mummies, Greek heroes and the Roman emperors to see how each culture reproduced the journey to immortality in its art. Join guest lecturer Christopher Gilbert for an engaging look at the collection.
