Looking at paintings of male and female saints, and containers meant to hold their relics, this gallery talk will explore the sometimes literal power of the saint's body in Christian art of the fifteenth through seventeenth centuries. This gallery talk will be led by graduate student lecturer, Caitlin Henningsen.
