Come hear research associate of Korean Arts Suhyung Kim and objects conservator LeeAnn Gordon talk about what's new in the renovated Arts of Korea gallery. The gallery opened in November 2012 featuring previously undisplayed works alongside the mainstay treasures from the collection. A brief introduction on how the collection was formed and how the gallery is structured will be presented in order to enrich the visitors' experience. Focus on new additions to gallery and the conservation efforts that went into preparing these objects for display. The talk includes a range of artworks including ancient jewelry, ceramic masterpieces, Buddhist paintings, and new contemporary acquisitions.
