From the beginning of the millennium to today, wine has been considered a heady elixir with the power to both transform and transcend.  Looking at sarcophagi, drinking vessels, altarpieces and panel paintings we will explore the mystical and magical powers of wine.  This gallery talk will be given by graduate student lecturer, Deneva Jackson.
