Musical Instrument Gallery Talk and Demonstration

Local performer, composer, and teacher Mehmet Ali Sanlikol will talk about the history, repertoire, and playing technique of the zurna, a double reed instrument of the Middle East. Professor Sanlikol will demonstrate modern instruments from his own collection, as well as two 19th-century examples belonging to the Museum.
