Join Wendy Soneson for an artist demonstration of watercolor techniques. Learn about the medium favored by the renowned American painter, John Singer Sargent during the early twentieth century and what made his work such a sensation. Visitors are invited to join in and create their own small watercolor painting.

Wendy Soneson has been teaching watercolor for 30 years in the Boston area. Her techniques emphasize color mixing theory and opening the artistic eye to see the world more deeply. She publishes a weekly newsletter online, Watercolorweekly.com, with articles about painting, student work, and other resources. Ms. Soneson exhibits her work periodically in the Boston area and recently completed a show on Brookline Landmarks at Town Hall in Brookline, Massachusetts.

This is a drop-in program. Come anytime and stay for as long as you would like.
