No individual has played as pivotal a role in shaping Broadway as Hal Prince. He has directed and/or produced more than 50 musicals, plays, and operas, beginning with The Pajama Game in 1954 and including Damn Yankees, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret, A Little Night Music, and Sweeney Todd. He has received more Tony Awards than anyone else in history, including his 21st Tony in 2006 for Lifetime Achievement in Theatre.

Stephen Terrell, head of musical theatre and artist in residence at Emerson College, speaks with Prince about his legendary career and, in this special presentation, introduces live performances by local actors of songs from some of Prince’s most beloved musicals.
