Bryan Hayslett
Cellist Bryan Hayslett continues to distinguish himself as a versatile solo, orchestral, and chamber music player. Having made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2009 as first prize winner of the Alexander & Buono International String Competition, Mr. Hayslett returned the following year as a repeat top prize laureate. He is currently completing his Master of Music degree at The Boston Conservatory with cellist Rhonda Rider. Mr. Hayslett is a proponent of new music, having founded and participated in multiple new music groups in the New England area. He performs on a cello made by Gary Davis.

Nora Karakousoglou
A native of Athens, Greece, Nora Karakousoglou took her first music lessons privately, in piano, at age four. Five years later, she enrolled at the Athens Conservatory for piano and cello and studied both instruments until the age of nine, when she decided to continue with the cello. In 2009 she enrolled in the studio of Rhonda Rider as a Master’s student at The Boston Conservatory, and is currently pursuing her Graduate Performance Diploma. She has participated in the University of Connecticut Cello Festival, The Apple Hill Chamber Music festival, the Texas Christian University Cellofest, the “Music from Salem” chamber music series and cello seminar, “MusicAlp” in Courchevel, and the Encore School for Strings among others.
