Take an audible journey to the Scottish Isles with award-winning singer Julie Fowlis!
Since being presented with the 2008 BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year Award, the Daily Telegraph’s prediction that “Julie Fowlis could be the first Scottish Gaelic crossover star in the making” has seemed increasingly prescient.
Julie Fowlis is no stranger to awards and distinctions, winning Gaelic Singer of the Year & Album of the Year at the 2007 Scots Trad Music Awards. She is most proud of her award as Scotland’s Gaelic Ambassador- “Tosgaire na Gàidhlig”, bestowed by the Scottish Parliament in 2008, the first person to ever receive this honor. Audiences across the globe heard her sing on the soundtrack to Disney's PIXAR film Brave released in the summer of 2012.
Front of House seating is available for an extra $5 here.
