The MFA Film Program and the Turkish American Cultural Society of New England are proud to present a selection of short films and documentaries as a part of the 20th Boston Turkish Festival’s Documentary & Short Film Competition. The first of its kind in North America and celebrating its 10th year, this competition has transformed to a tradition and has received a remarkable international attention.  More than 40 films will be screened in this year’s program at the Museum of Fine Arts on November 6-7 and November13-14, at the Goethe-Institut Boston on November 7, and at Boston University on November 8-9. In addition to “Best Documentary” and “Best Short Film” selected by the jury, the “Audience Awards” will be announced. In this rare opportunity, film enthusiasts in Boston will be able to explore works of the young filmmakers first hand.  An opening night reception will also follow the screening on November 6th at MFA.
