Internationally acclaimed New York–based artist and SMFA alumnus Daniel Rich returns to Boston to install works for his forthcoming exhibition (on view September 29, 2012, to March 31, 2013). Rich has spent a decade investigating the connection between architecture, nationalism, and political power through his painstakingly precise acrylic paintings. Meet Rich and exhibition curator Al Miner for a behind-the-scenes look at the installation in progress, enjoy an exclusive Q&A with Rich, and be the first to toast the artist on his solo museum debut.
