New York-based artist Dawit L. Petros returns to Boston since graduating from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2007 to install works for his forthcoming solo exhibition (on view in the Edward H. Linde Gallery, October 26, 2013–April 13, 2014). Petros’s careful observations of sites across the globe inspire his photographs, video art and sculptural installations, which strive to capture each city’s essence—their sense of place.  Meet Petros and the curator of the exhibition, Al Miner, for an exclusive Q&A about Petros’s process and inspiration, enjoy a sneak peek at the installation in progress, and be the first to toast the artist on his major Boston museum debut at a reception to follow in Bravo.
