Don’t miss a one-of-a-kind concert organized by the Jewish Arts Collaborative in honor of the special exhibition “Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross,” featuring musicians from around the world sharing songs of freedom and memory.

Film: Orchestra of Exiles

Orchestra of Exiles is the suspenseful chronicle of how one man helped to save Europe’s premier Jewish musicians from obliteration by the Nazis during World War II.

Hear an original presentation by Sociedad Latina’s Youth Artists Mastery group, who have created a concert based on their discoveries made on recent visits the MFA.

Songs of Freedom: A Concert by The Welcome Strangers
3–4 pm, Remis Auditorium

Commissioned and organized by the Jewish Arts Collaborative, Songs of Freedom features creative interpretations of songs of liberation and tolerance inspired by the homeland of each of the musicians in The Welcome Strangers, an ensemble of some of the region’s finest immigrant musicians.
