Join us for an exclusive exhibition reception for Samurai!: Armor from the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection. The exhibition features the extraordinary artistry of the armor used by samurai -- the military elite led by the shoguns, or warloards, of Japan from the 12th through 19th centuries. This special evening for Museum Council members only will include a short lecture, exhibition view, and wine and hors d'oeuvres reception in the Shapiro Courtyard.
