Join us for an evening dedicated to discovering the rich artistic expression of Iran and the Middle East from the perspective of contemporary female artists. Guests will explore the exhibition "She Who Tells a Story: Women Photographers from Iran and the Arab World" with Kristen Gresh, Estrellita and Yousuf Karsh Assistant Curator of Photographs, before receiving front-row seats to the Ruth and Carl J. Shapiro Celebrity Lecture "Through the Lens: The Life and Work of an Iranian Artist" featuring Shirin Neshat, Iran's best known photographer, filmaker, and video artist. Following the lecture, enjoy an exclusive reception with the artist just for Patrons and their guests.
