Course Description: Explore the galleries to discover toys from around the world, from ancient Egyptian model boats, Roman coins, miniature paintings, and musical instruments. In the studio, create mobile toys, soft toys, noisemakers, game boards, and more.

Instructor: Jeremiah Stevenson

Jeremiah Stevenson majored in Studio Arts at Trinity College in Connecticut, and received a Master's degree in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art & Design in 2011. His teaching experiences have included teaching ESL classes in South Korea, spending five summers working at the Cambridge Adventure Day Camp, tutoring students at the Cambridge Hospital Adolescent Assessment Unit, and leading after-school art classes in his hometown of Cohasset, MA. He is currently trained to bring art to children and families in hospital settings as part of the Artful Healing program, works as an instructor in the Artful Adventures program at the MFA, and is the Community Arts Liaison for the United South End Settlements House. Jeremiah finds his inspiration mostly in drawing and painting.
