From the dawn of history to today, peoples of all cultures have adorned themselves in rich clothing, jewels, crowns, armor, and more. A week of fun and creation discovering Mayan and Aztec leaders, Japanese samurai, Egyptian pharaohs, and Indian brides. Students create their own wearable accessories from sewing and printmaking on capes, to making beaded jewelry, and embellishing masks and more in our studio classroom.
