Eight Session Class: Saturdays, April 6- June 8 (no class April 20 and May 25)

Course Description: Children learn basic woodworking skills starting with simple projects, using hand tools. Continuing students undertake larger and more complex projects, gaining appreciation for wood as a creative medium. New projects each section. Children will love to come back again and again as their skills and comfort increase. Parents are welcome to stay if they wish. 

The MFA is delighted to present programming with the Eliot School. In the heart of Jamaica Plain, the Eliot School is a short ride from the MFA. Parking is plentiful and the bus stops one block away. All tools are provided, except as noted. Materials lists are distributed during first class. No previous experience required.
