This fall class is now closed for registration.  Winter session will go on sale December 1 for classes starting in January.

Dates: Saturdays, Ten-week session, September 22 - December 8 (No Class on October 6 or November 24)

Course Description: Visit the galleries each week to observe and discuss art, and to make drawings. Using inspiration from your gallery visit, work on projects in the studio, including painting, collage, printmaking, clay sculpture, and other 3-D explorations. Materials provided. Students must be enrolled in kindergarten or first grade or equivalent.

Laura Ziman has her undergraduate degree from SUNY Purchase in Art History, attended LaVarenne, a cooking school in Paris, and acquired her M.Ed. from Lesley University. She has taught at the MFA for seven years and currently teaches education and art history classes at Cambridge College and Culinary History at Mass Bay Community College. She exhibited oversized paper mache sculptures of food at the Portland, ME, Museum of Art.
