Dates: Sundays, Ten-week session, March 24- June 9 (no class March 31 and April 28)
Course Description: Visit the galleries each week to observe and discuss art, and to make drawings. Using inspiration from your gallery visit, work on projects in the studio, including painting, collage, printmaking, clay sculpture, and other 3-D explorations. Materials provided.
Instructor: John Cafferty
John Cafferty has worked at the BCAE and currently teaches in the Somerville Public Schools. He has taught art classes at Hofstra University and the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center in New York. He holds a Master of Arts, Teaching Art Education from Tufts University and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Cartooning and Illustration from the School of Visual Arts.
