Visit the galleries each week to observe and discuss art, and to make drawings. Using inspiration from your gallery visit, work on projects in the studio, including painting, collage, printmaking, clay sculpture, and other 3-D explorations.

Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.

About the Instructor
Leila Joy Rosenthal has been teaching a variety of children’s, adult, and the City of Boston’s High School Art Scholarship Classes at the Museum of Fine Arts for fifty-one years. In addition to teaching art, she has also studied dental technology and is able to combine her drawing and sculpture skillsworking as a clinical associate professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. For the past thirty years, she has been singing with the Zamir Chorale of Boston.
