Visit the galleries each week to observe and discuss art, and to make drawings. Using inspiration from your gallery visit, work on projects in the studio, including painting, collage, printmaking, clay sculpture, and other 3-D explorations.

Due to the building’s historic architecture, the third-floor classrooms, 305A, 305B, 305D and 305E, are not wheelchair-accessible and must be accessed by stairs. Please let us know in advance if the student has limited mobility; we can make accommodations, including relocating the class to an accessible space.

About the Instructor
Alexandra Wollins received her BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts, focusing on printmaking and human factors engineering. She has had a long interest in the handmade items of the art world and the machine-made items of the engineering world. Her knowledge of printmaking spans every print media. She has been teaching for six years in multiple settings, including South Africa, Denver, Somerville, and the surrounding Boston area. Alexandra is a recent graduate with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts.
