This fall class is now closed for registration. Winter session will go on sale December 1 for classes starting in January.
THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Tuesdays, Ten-week session, Oct 2 to Dec 4
Course Description: You are ready to move to the next level. Everything you learned in basic drawing will be used to create portfolio-worthy drawings. Learn how to start and finish drawings using penciling, inking, and wash techniques. Continue to build on what you have learned while learning to apply it to your own personal projects. Advanced drawing will strengthen your abilities, providing you with the confidence you need to succeed as a master draftsman.
Please note, the MFA is in the process of replacing the gallery stools at the Sharf Visitor Center. During the early part of this coming Spring Session, studio classroom spaces will be made available to the MFA Studio Art Class Program’s gallery based classes, if there are not enough stools available. In this case, it will mean that the class will still visit the galleries and the actual drawing will take place in the classroom.
