Thursday, Ten-week session, Jan 3 to Mar 14 (No Class Feb 21)
Course Description: Working exclusively in the galleries, use the Museum collection as inspiration to focus on the fundamentals of drawing: line, composition, proportion, perspective, light, and shadow. Enhance observational sensibilites as you learn how to record what you see, while emphasizing creativity. You may bring your own supplies; a list of required materials is distributed during first class.
Instructor: Andres Perez-Carraso
Andres Perez-Carraso is a painter and sculptor who studied at the University Complutense de Bellas Artes of Madrid and Chelsea College of Art in London. He has exhibited his work throughout Europe. He has a MA and PhD in philosophy from Boston College with a concentration in aesthetics and art theory.
