In this hands-on class for beginners, students will understand the basic elements that have made photography the unique art from it is. Students will learn about the advantages that digital technology offers and be able to use their camera with greater facility. Topics covered: Aperture, Shutter, ISO, Manual Exposure, Depth of Field, Controlling Motion, The Camera Meter, Lenses & Focal Length, White Balance & Basic Color, Basic Composition.
Students must bring their own DSLR camera with manual functions.

About the Instructor
Fran Osborn-Blaschke is a photographer who graduated from the New England School of Photography professional program. His artistic vision is influenced and inspired by his family, science, astronomy, music and poetry. His photographs have been shown at various venues in the New England area, including the Photographic Resource Center, the Danforth Museum of Art and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
