Using objects and paintings from the Museum’s collection as inspiration, capture your creative ideas in drawing. Visit ships, Aztec animals, Native American clothing, folk art, Japanese woodblock prints, and more. Combine and learn skills in observational drawing, composition layout, and basic drawing technique to create unique, thought-out, and original drawings.

About the Instructor
Karl Stephan holds a Masters in Art Education from the Tufts School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Expert in traditional and contemporary techniques of drawing and other two-dimensional media, Karl is a Medici Artist at Tufts and a well-regarded curator. In addition to his popular museum drawing classes for teens, Karl teaches privately in his Cambridge studio.
