Dates: Thursday, Ten-week session, March 28- June 6 (no class April 18)
Course Description: Discover printmaking techniques including relief, monotype, collograph, and drypoint, and experiment with transfer drawings, multiples, chin colle, and reworking. Demonstrations, class discussions, and visits to the galleries serve as reference and inspiration. You may bring your own supplies; a list of required materials is distributed during first class. Open to all levels.
Instructor: Joan Asquith Shrier
Joan Asquith Shrier has her MFA from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts and a BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her work is in many private and public collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has been teaching in the Boston area for over 25 years.
