Course Description: Discover photography through the digital camera to understand composition, the effects of light, and color within a photograph. Examine the MFA’s photography collection and working in the galleries to inspire your own work to create compelling images. Learn different photography genres such as portraits, still life, documentary and more. Requirement: a digital camera.
Instructor: Fran Osborn-Blaschke
Fran Osborn-Blaschke is a photographer who graduated from the New England School of Photography professional program. His artistic vision is influenced by his family, science, astronomy, music and poetry. His photographs have been shown at various venues in the New England area, inclusing the Photographic Resource Center, the Danforth Museum of Art and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
