Course Description: Explore mass, space, texture, and the expressive potential of sculpture in space by creating temporaray three-dimensional forms in specific and unusual locations.  All creations will be digitally recorded.  Create preparatory sketches for studio projects.

Instructor: Sue Murad

Sue Murad is multi media performing artist and recipient of a 2008 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellow in Choreography.  After 4 years with the band UV Protection (2004-2007) she continues her history of site-specific installation and performance work in locations around Boston. She is currently working on a documentary with high school youth from Sociedad Latina funded through a grant from Culture for Change. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has developed her art company, Orange over the past 12 years.
