Saturday, Ten-week session, Jan 7-Mar 17 (No class on Feb 18)

Course Description: Express yourself with charcoal, ink, oil pastels, recycled materials, and found objects through drawing, painting, collage, and assemblage. Visit the galleries to discover the ways in which different artists worked with a variety of media. Materials provided.

Instructor: Sue Murad

Sue Murad is multi media performing artist and recipient of a 2008 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellow in Choreography.  After 4 years with the band UV Protection (2004-2007) she continues her history of site-specific installation and performance work in locations around Boston. She is currently working on a documentary with high school youth from Sociedad Latina funded through a grant from Culture for Change. She holds a BFA in Sculpture from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has developed her art company, Orange over the past 12 years.
