One-Day Workshop: Sunday, July 8

Workshop Description: Drawing from a live model, try different exercises with a different pose every 10–30 minutes. Explore different approaches to looking at your subject and develop personal expression. Materials may be required; registrants will be notified prior to start date. Please bring the following supplies: 18"x24" white paper drawing pad 50lb, soft vine charcoal, chamois cloth, kneaded eraser.

Instructor: Karina Kadiyska

Karina Kadiyska earned her bachelor’s degree in painting (‘99) and master’s degree in sculpture (‘01), both from Boston University. Prior to her studies at BU, Karina received a solid academic art training in Moscow, and after graduating from the masters’ program, she spent two years in Carrara, Italy, further studying sculpture. Karina works both in 2-D and 3-D media, creating brush drawings of plants and figurative sculptures.
