One-day Workshop: Sunday, April 28
Workshop Description: Drawing in the MFA galleries, work through a series of exercises based on observational skills of composition, formal elements and psychological effects to add increasingly abstract elements to individual drawings.
Please bring required materials with you:
14x17" drawing pad
a few different graphite pencils (no mechanical pencils)
one or two charcoal pencils
a few colored pencils (if you have them)
pencil sharpener
white eraser

Julie Miller received her MFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston in affiliation with Tufts University in 2006. Miller also teaches at the School of the Museum of Fine Art, Boston and the Art Institute of Boston.
