MFA Studio Art Classes for teens ages 12-14 and 15-18
The Museum of Fine Arts offers studio art classes and workshops taught by experienced educators who are also professional artists. Students are invited to question, explore, experiment, and solve problems as they create and interact with art. The Museum’s collections provide an unparalleled opportunity to study the processes of artists past and present from a variety of cultural perspectives. Class sizes are limited to ensure that students of all levels benefit from these experiences. Classes are offered year round!
Teen Saturday and Sunday Classes
During the fall, winter, and spring, teen classes are held on Saturdays or Sundays. Classes meet once a week for ten weeks or attend a one-day workshop. Introduce yourself to the fundamentals of drawing, or work with a variety of materials to create your first installation art. Practice various approaches to figure drawing or learn the basics in animation. Learn how material, form, and space define sculpture. Whether you are new to art or advanced in your skills and seeking a creative challenge, Studio Art Classes is a fun way to explore the medium, improve your technique, and meet other art enthusiasts!
