Join the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and Facing History and Ourselves for a closer look at photographs by Henryk Ross documenting life in the Lodz Ghetto in Poland during World War II. View the MFA’s exhibition “Memory Unearthed: The Lodz Ghetto Photographs of Henryk Ross” with fellow educators; consider approaches for looking closely at Ross’s documentary photographs; and learn about the historical context of the Lodz Ghetto. Participants also explore resources From Facing History and Ourselves about teaching the Holocaust and consider ways of incorporating the exhibition into their curriculum, either through a self-guided visit to the exhibition or through images available online.
