MALCOLM ROGERS: I’m Malcolm Rogers, Ann and Graham Gund Director of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and I want to remind you that the Museum is a simply wonderful place to visit during the holidays. It’s festive and full of life. Take a stroll through the galleries to see masterpieces from ancient to modern. And don’t miss the dazzling "Sargent Watercolors" exhibition—a Boston favorite.
Enjoy the sounds of the season with a concert. See a great film. Drop in for a gallery talk. There are plenty of activities for young and old. Find just the right gift at the MFA Bookstore & Shops, and savor the season with family and friends at the elegant Bravo restaurant, or here at Taste Café and Wine Bar, where I recommend the pinot noir or perhaps one of the wonderful Italian ice creams.
As you can see, there is much to choose from during a holiday visit to the MFA. Of course, all this activity and good cheer is made possible by you—we couldn’t be the Museum we are without your support. Thank you for everything you do to make the MFA such a special place all year round. Please continue your support through visiting, becoming a member, or making a contribution. Best wishes for a peaceful and happy holiday season. I look forward to seeing you here at the MFA.
