DescriptionAccording to Villet (2016) the MFA's is State I of VI. However, the inscription found in State II (Croquis d'après nature pris non loin de la cabane du Czar Pierre le Grand qui vint en 1695, incognito, sous le nom de Pierre Mikhailof, étudier la construction maritime.) is written in pencil below the image. The MFA also owns three State II prints (23.1128, 23.1129, and 69.1018).
