A long rectangular net shawl embroidered with white cotton in chain stitch with some drawn work stitches, border on all four sides of round scallops, each scallop enclosing a circlet of small leaves on curved stem surrounding a pineapple, at two narrow ends a deep double border of repeated large scale pineapple, a spray of fern-like leaves and minute blossoms repeated over ground; a jagged seam across center of shawl (worn part probably removed).
