This chatelaine brooch features a paratrooper with a red, white and blue enamel parachute suspended from a rhinestone-encrusted biplane with rotating propellers. The biplane and paratrooper consist of two separate brooches connected by a silver cable chain.

NOTE: This is part of a large collection of costume jewelry given to the MFA in 2018, which had been built over about 40 years.
