DescriptionThis glazed amulet is of a deep blue faience. It is somewhat incrusted with one hole and is chipped. The amulet represents the djed-pillar. The pillar, which symbolized the spinal column of the funerary god Osiris, was the hieroglyphic symbol for stability.
