DescriptionRectangular open-work amulet, [bead or pendant?] large rectangular holes at either end. Open work on all but the back side. Traces of bluish-green glaze; face (a) female deity seated facing right holding [?], scepter with background cut out; face (b) is solid with hieroglyphic design in relief.
ProvenanceFrom Meroe, S 125. February, 1921: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
