This red-brown ware pottery figurine represents a small animal, probably a sheep. Models of sheep and cattle indicate their economic importance. They may have also been placed in burials for magical purposes.
From Dakka (101/17). 1910. Excavated by Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition for the Archaeological Survey of Nubia; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the Egyptian government.
