DescriptionThis silver plaque once formed part of an elaborately decorated horse harness. It is decorated with raised relief hieroglyphs reading "ankh-was-neb", "All life and dominion."
ProvenanceFrom Meroe (Beg. N), pyramid 16 (tomb of Aryesbokhe). 1921: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan.
