DescriptionApron of salmon pink satin (now much faded, streaked, and stained), embroidered with polychrome silks, blues, and predominating, and with gold and silver metal thread and metal strips; design of large-scale flowering vine as border and scattered curving floral sprays over ground; fullness near top smocked and drawn in tightly, upper edge of gold brocaded blue silk almost entirely concealed by bands of gold and silver galloon, edges of apron finished with gold braid; edges faced with green silk; a number of cracks and breaks in satin.
