Obverse: Bust of Cardinal Richelieu looking to proper left; inscribed at edge “ARMANDVS IOANNES CARDINALIS DE RICHELIEV” [“Armand-Jean, Cardinal Richelieu”].
Reverse: Triumphal chariot looking to proper right with three victory figures; inscribed at top “TANDEM VICTA SEQVOR” [“Conquered at last, I follow”] and in exergue “·WARIN/·1630·”.
