DescriptionCoarse cotton ground. Wide band of embroidery bordered at bottom by a row of flat points; bottom of bag is of plain cotton. Embroidery, done with polychrome silks in stem filling stitches, shows conventionalized flowering plants in red, green and blue on a black ground; narrow geometric and floral bands along upper and lower edges. Brass grommets and tubular braid drawstring. Brown stain at bottom.
