DescriptionThis fragment has a flat semicircular edge with curving semicircular shape on top, mostly destroyed. It is possibly the base of a scribal statue (see 13-12-51b). It is made out of coarse alabaster. It joins 13.5827.2.
ProvenanceFrom Nubia (Sudan), Kerma, K IV room B debris. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
